Consultation has concluded

The City of Vancouver is currently preparing its 2021-22 budget and we would like to get your input on where you think we should make reductions or investments in the General Fund.

Please use this interactive budget tool to "balance the budget" by making your recommendations for reductions or investments in the General Fund categories and submit your comments by Sept. 30. The City will use your feedback, along with many other inputs, in developing the budget for 2021-2022. In November, the City Manager will propose a budget to the Council for their review and adoption by the end of the year.

    Great question! Yes, we are reviewing all of the feedback we're receiving from residents. We have received some great ideas and feedback so far. I would encourage you to follow the official City of Vancouver Facebook page. We announce all upcoming City Council Meetings along with their agenda's. The City Manager and our Finance Department will be presenting the next two year budget to Council for their consideration in meetings beginning in October.  All of the feedback collected here will be shared with Council.

    Great question. All our pages can be translated into 9 different languages. A user can select the "Translate this page" drop down menu in the upper right corner of any page.
