Police Chief Survey

Like many communities, policing in Vancouver is experiencing change. Concerns such as transparency, accountability, and diversity and equity match those of effectiveness of policing. This, along with changes in local crime rates, state level reforms, the national dialogue around policing, offers an opportunity to continue our support of effective, inclusive, and innovative police leadership as we launch a national search for our next police chief. 

We want to hear what the community values in police leadership. We invite you to share your thoughts by taking the short survey below. The survey is open through April 15. Responses will be anonymous. Your feedback will provide important insight and understanding of what is important to the community as we screen and interview candidates for this critical position.
